Grand Dynamics Program Highlights – 2008 Year in Review
January 18th, 2009This year Grand Dynamics celebrated 10 successful years in business! 2008 brought many thrilling programs and insightful learning experiences. Among many exciting pursuits, we printed Seeking True North and developed this site and forum! We delivered amazing Team Adventures, Workforce Development programs and Customized Events across the nation.
Seeking True North – Books and Seminars 2008
2008 was indeed the year of Seeking True North. We finally got our book into print! Over 120 models, methods and tools are described throughout the story of Freedom and Beautiful. Our Seeking True North seminar celebrated the book in Orlando, Florida with our long-standing client-partner, CFMA. In September we delivered a 3 day Seeking True North program in Jackson Hole, hosted by one of our resort partners – Spring Creek Ranch. This program was filmed and portions will appear on The Winning Edge television show in 126 countries world-wide beginning spring 2009! Seeking True North forum was also launched in the Fall of 2008 and we gained momentum through the holiday season with over 100 members sharing discussions about how to Prepare, Practice and be Passionate in business and in life. We have quite the momentum flowing for 2009!
The Cooperative Edge – Consulting, Training and Workforce Development
Our Cooperative Edge consulting programs benefitted a number of Wyoming businesses including Reboot Computers, Hotel Terra, Osteria and the White Buffalo Club. These programs offer a customized assessment and program design to meet the most important Organizational and Human Performance Improvement directives. Focus areas included: Management training, leadership development, teambuilding adventures, personality assessments, culture development, customer service and business operations.
As part of our cooperative edge consulting program, we work with organizations to secure grant funding to subsidize training and development efforts. Both new and existing businesses can gain significant benefit from grant funding supported by Wyoming Workforce development programs! In 2009 we will be offering several training packages to support the Wyoming Workforce.
Team Adventures
Grand Dynamics specializes in delivering customized team adventure programs – and 2008 was filled with them. Our Amazing Race Adventure, Teaming with GPS and Team Expedition continued to be a big hit both with many programs delivered in Jackson Hole, New York and internationally in Thailand. Specialized adventure programs included Tyrolean Traverse Bridge Building, multi-sport adventure racing, rock climbing and even mountain-side group cooking events!
Customized Events – The Mystery is Solved
Customizing teambuilding events is another delivery area in which Grand Dynamics excels. An example of one indoor event that we created was our Grand Clue murder mystery. You can read more about this event in the STN blog summary link above.
