Our Deepest Fear

November 17th, 2009

This is one of my all time favorite quotes. Remember: Don’t let anyone cover the light you bring to the world!

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us most. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and famous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that people won’t feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in all of us. And when we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
By Maryanne Williamson, and used by Nelson Mandela in his 1994 inaugural speech

Toning up before he comes home? Im in fliary good shape but as I get older (Im 29) Im finding it harder to have the extra burst of energy to wanna maintain my workouts. My boyfriend and I are both in the military and we’ve even been deployed to Iraq together but this time he’s deployed and Im at home. I dont wanna slack off or gain weight while he’s gone and Im just waiting for him. I wanna tone up for his return and be the sexiest woman he could ever come home to! Any advice to keep my energy going? Vitamins? Workouts?

13fgood work Maria on being front and center in Canadian Living! I just reaziled why I have been so resistant on buying your e-book i don’t like the name e-book, it is not appealling or sexy and does not evoke the wonderful feeling that a book does. Maybe another name?
