Why God's headship comes first — the dual test under every tool, workflow, and decision in this garden.

Before anything else

This garden is not neutral ground. It grows from faith — specifically, faith from the God of the canonical Bible, received as gift and anchor, not as decoration.

I am guided by God and His living Word. I embrace His leadership and headship in my life and in every tool He asks me to use for His glory. That is not a preamble I skip to get to the tooling. It is the foundation.

Everything below flows from that. If it fails this, it does not belong here — no matter how clever, fast, or fashionable. This is my goal; I intentionally use the term seeking to indicate my pursuit of excellence rather than my being excellent, i.e., I'm not perfect therefore my content here isn't perfect either.

God is True North

True North is not a direction God points to — God is True North. He is not a compass bearing one might approach; He is the magnetic source itself.

No created being — however exalted, however sincere, however Spirit-adjacent in appearance — occupies His position. That throne belongs to Him alone.

Near-miss counterfeits, drift, and calibration are worth their own entry. Read The Calibration when you are ready to go deeper on discernment. This page establishes what must never move.

AI under God's headship

Artificial intelligence is a tool — neither sacred nor evil in itself. Like any created instrument, it can be wielded for good or twisted toward evil. I receive this in faith and carry it into every stance, choice, and use of AI.

My trust is not placed in models, hype, fear-mongering, or the anxieties of others. Isaiah 8:11–15 anchors where I put my faith: sanctify God of hosts — fear Him, honor Him as holy, and let Him be my dread. He alone is my sanctuary.

This posture shapes how I relate to AI:

  • Tool, not lord — AI serves creation under God's headship; it never replaces His living Word or obedience to Him.
  • Glory, not fear — I reject panic-driven conformity and conspiracy thinking about technology; I fear God and use what He puts in my hands for His glory.
  • Guided by Scripture — The canonical Bible is my final court of appeal; AI may assist, but it does not dictate conscience or conviction.

Seeking True North — this site, this garden — is an outpouring of the same philosophy: helping others bootstrap with AI while keeping God's headship central. Tools in hand, faith in Him alone.

The dual test

Every tool, workflow, and recommendation in this garden must pass two tests before it stays:

Test 1 — People

Does this genuinely serve people and solve real problems?

Test 2 — Headship

Does this honor God's headship and serve His glory — or does it chase capability, novelty, or fear?

If it fails either test, reject it. Prune it. It does not go in the garden.

There is a related question I use inside my private harness (Oz): Does this help bring ideas to life faster, or does it just look organized? That is the builder's operational filter. The dual test above is the public gate — what you can hold me accountable to here.

What this means for you

You do not have to share every conviction I hold to find something useful in the Harness Bed or the journey entries. You should know what governs the whole: God first, people served, hype rejected, fear not worshipped.

If that aligns — tend the garden with me. If it does not — at least you know what you are reading.

Distilled from the Oz Constitution. The constitution remains the deeper source; this entry is its public face in the Foundation Bed.
